The Eastport-South Manor Central School District Board of Education and administrators were on hand as ribbons were cut last week to officially open the newly designed turf softball and baseball fields. Emma Suhr will represent Southampton High School as an Outstanding Performer nominee, for her role as Matilda in the school's production of "Matilda!," at the 2024 Roger Rees Awards on May 19 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater in Manhattan.

Bridgehampton School's  third- and fourth- graders  spent time in their greenhouse planting  succulents with agricultural science teacher Ms.
DeSouza and school horticulturist Ms. Paucar.
The succulents were planted by students to honor women in their lives for this Mother’s Day. The greenhouse is home to the school's agricultural science department and is where students learn about growing plants, vegetables, and flowers along with a coop of chickens, cared for by the students.
