Speed bump on Halsey Street: As a longtime resident of Southampton Village, I have complained for years to the trustees about the workforce traffic in the village. I live on Pelham Street, and I get a lot of traffic every day — they speed, they have loud exhaust and cause pollution. Some cars sound as loud as the leaf blowers.
I think that speed bumps should be put on Pelham Street and Moses Lane heading to Hill Street and County Road 39. That will at least slow down these cars that race down these streets.
