I support Barbara Roberts for North Haven mayor having witnessed her leadership skills and dedication to our community first hand. Barbara is devoted to preserving North Haven’s character of natural beauty and a certain wild feel, saving it from manicured overdevelopment, happening both to our neighborhoods and public lands.
We bought in this bucolic community in the 1990s and have grown increasingly concerned that the traditional aesthetic of North Haven is not being preserved. Barbara has a vision that will call for a comprehensive plan and a collaborative approach to protect our environment, water quality and what is left of what’s so special here.
Barbara is well suited to long-term planning and forming alliances with the larger county and state governmental organizations North Haven is part of. As a longtime East End civic leader and North Haven resident, Barbara will best defend our environment and traditional character.
