Mother’s Day Specials
This year, Mother’s Day is on Sunday, May 12. Treat the moms in your life right and take them out for a great meal on the East End.
R.AIRE at the Hampton Maid (259 E Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-728-4184, hamptonmaid.com) will be serving a wine dinner on Mother’s Day with Spanish winemaker, Luis Manuel, of Bagordi Wines from 5 to 9:30 p.m. The three-course prix fixe is $75 and it includes amuse bouche and welcome glass of wine. Optional wine pairing is an additional $15.
1 North Steakhouse (322 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-594-3419, 1northsteakhouse.com) is accepting reservations for Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 3 to 10 p.m.
New Moon Cafe (524 Montauk Highway, East Quogue, 631-653-4042, newmooncafeeq.com) is accepting reservations for Mother’s Day and will be serving both brunch and dinner specials.
Canal Cafe (44 Newtown Road, Hampton Bays, 631-723-2155, thecanalcafe.com) will be offering one free bloody Mary or a mimosa to all moms on Mother’s Day.
Calissa (1020 Montauk Highway, Water Mill, 631-500-9292, calissahamptons.com) celebrates Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, with a special brunch priced at $75 per person served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by dinner service starting at 5 p.m. Optional “Bottomless Rosé & Bubbles Brunch” offers two hours of enjoyment with selections like rosé, mimosas, bellinis or bubbles straight up. Opt for French bubbles at $45 per person or Champagne at $65 per person for a touch of luxury.
Nick & Toni’s (136 North Main Street, East Hampton, 631-324-3550, nickandtonis.com) will offer a special Mother’s Day prix fixe menu and a la carte dinner specials on Sunday, May 12. The three-course brunch menu will cost $80 per person, plus tax and gratuity and will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
Greek Easter
Elaia Estiatorio in Bridgehamtpon will serve its traditional Greek Easter special menu on Sunday, May 5, from 2:30 to 8 p.m. featuring traditional lamb on the spit and drink specials. Menu highlights include: a first course of dolmadakia (grape leaves stuffed with rice, herbs, scallions, minced beef, lemon sauce); a main course of arni sto fourno (roasted leg of lamb, herbs); a side of kritharaki (Greek orzo, tomato sauce, shallots, herbs, mizithra); and for dessert, galaktoboureko (semolina milk and vanilla custard in phyllo with orange honey syrup).
