Members of the Pierson High School Environmental Club recently gathered at Kidd Squid where they threaded native eelgrass through burlap sheets as part of a workshop hosted by the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Prior to the event, students discussed the importance of eelgrass on marine ecosystems.
