East Hampton Town has proposed purchasing outright 20.5 acres of vacant land, outlined in yellow, that stretches between Springs Fireplace Road and Accabonac Road just north of North Main Street. The property has already been preserved from development but by purchasing it outright from its owner, Caroline Martuscello, the town could lease the land to a farmer for food crop cultivation.
