Coalition for Womens Cancers

This group has come together to create and sustain a supportive network for women affected by breast, ovarian and uterine cancers. The organization focuses on early detection and empowerment to bring about better health care and an improved quality of life.

Dawgpatch Bandits

East End Hospice

East End Hospice brings hope to the dying and their families and friends. By affirming life, hospice helps people conclude life with comfort and dignity, offering pain alleviation and symptom control in a familiar and caring environment. Certified in 1991, East End Hospice, a 501(c)(3) not- for-profit corporation, has provided services to over 17,000 terminally ill patients and their families – primarily in patients’ homes under the direction of professionals—and with invaluable assistance from dedicated volunteers.

East Hampton Healthcare Foundation

When the East Hampton Healthcare Center opened in 2002, we offered pediatrics, family, internal, and specialized adult medicine services to all Town residents. It was an innovative healthcare model. No one was turned away for their inability to pay.

Ellen Hermanson Foundation

The Ellen Hermanson Foundation was founded in 1997 to honor Ellen Hermanson's legacy and continue the vital work to which she dedicated so much passion and effort. Ellen was a powerful advocate and activist who used her journalistic skills to become a prominent voice for breast cancer patients and their families. Through her writing, she raised awareness about early detection, the challenges of living with breast cancer, the often-overlooked issue of pain management, and the profound impact of breast cancer on entire families.

Fighting Chance

Fighting Chance is America’s oldest and largest free cancer counseling center that operates on a regional basis, in our case the Eastern End of Long Island. Additional services include free transportation to cancer treatment both locally and in NYC, and various support groups including Equine Therapy.

Lucia’s Angels

Lucia's Angels is a foundation committed to helping women and families on Eastern Long Island with late-stage women’s cancers including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer and uterine cancer.
Lucia’s Angels has provided help and funding for: gasoline gift cards, grocery gift cards, heating bills, dental work, housecleaning, rent, eyeglasses, food trains, babysitting, heating bills, health insurance premiums, automobile repair, ambulatory trips, therapeutic massage, transportation, salon services and wigs. From special wishes like one more trip to the beach, to providing extra child-care, to the holding of a hand, Lucia's spirit and Angels will be there.

Montauk Senior Nutrition Center

Southampton Hospital Foundation

The Southampton Hospital Foundation, Inc., is a nonprofit corporation that is seperate from Stony Brook Southampton Hospital with an independent board of trustees. The foundation works in close partnership with the Southampton Hospital Association and plays a vital role in both fundraising and by overseeing and managing funds.
