The Church presents a musical showcase of women and humor on Thursday, August 29, at 6 p.m. with guests Inda Eaton, Susanne Mack and The Fistys as the conclusion to their Summer Thursday Concert Series. In tandem with the theme of The Church’s exhibition, “Are You Joking? Women in Humor,” each performer will present a selection of songs they feel explores humor through music.

Inda Eaton, singer-songwriter, storyteller and nomadic troubadour, has graced stages across the globe with her original Americana acoustic rock music. Her previous albums, including “Shelter in Place” and “Go West,” have garnered critical acclaim and touched hearts worldwide. Currently on tour with “Free To Roam” this summer, she continues her artistic journey, inviting audiences to join her on this intimate exploration.

Susanne Mack is a German singer and writer based in New York City and a regular performer on the New York City cabaret scene. Her solo show “Reconciliation,” directed by Gretchen Cryer, was a hit at the United Solo Theatre Festival in 2018. Mack’s original shows have been staged in New York, London and Switzerland. She is a fellow of the Eugene O’Neill Cabaret Convention.

The Fistys were Battle of the Band Winners at Stephen’s Talkhouse and have performed at Pride Dance Party at The Clubhouse, the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor and Green Hill Kitchen in Greenport. Front-person, singer-songwriter Alejandra Dubove, is a historian and diversity and equity educator. Kathy Henderson (bass/composer) is a teacher and wellness guru. Christina Sun (drummer/percussion) is an artist, educator and humanist.

Tickets for the show are $30 ($25 members, $15 under age 18) and can be purchased at thechurchsagharbor.org. The Church is at 48 Madison Street, Sag Harbor.
