This summer, 22 brilliant young artists from across the globe — all emerging stars in the piano world — will gather together to perform mesmerizing music as part of the 36th season of Pianofest in the Hamptons.

Public Pianofest performances begin Monday, June 24, with six weeks of intimate piano recitals taking place across Southampton, East Hampton and Westhampton Beach. This season’s Monday night concerts will all be held at the Southampton Cultural Center, right in the heart of Southampton Village, across from Agwam Park.

For those curious to explore how the young artists hone their virtuosic skills, this year’s programming will also include a masterclass with Yefim Bronfman, Pianofest’s Annaliese Soros Visiting Artist. In this one-night-only event, Bronfman — one of today’s most admired and in-demand pianists — will lead a masterclass with select Pianofest students at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 1, at the Southampton Cultural Center.

The Pianofest 2024 schedule:

Southampton: Season opening on Monday, June 24, at 5 p.m. followed by five Monday evening concerts on July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, at 5 p.m. at Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton.

East Hampton: Three evening concerts on Thursday, June 27, Wednesday, July 3, and Thursday, July 25, all at 5:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 18 James Lane, East Hampton.

Westhampton Beach: A concert on Thursday, June 27, at 7 p.m. at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach.

Subscriptions to all six Monday evening concerts are $180 at pianofest.com. General admission tickets for all 2024 concerts, as well as the Yefim Bronfman masterclass, are $30 per person at the door. Cash or credit/debit card only — no reservations are needed. Individual tickets are also available on the website. Students can attend any Pianofest concert for free.
