AIA Peconic Design Awards Deadline Is January 29

The registration deadline for the 2024 Daniel J. Rowan Memorial Design Awards is Monday, January 29, the last chance to register before submissions are due on February 15.

AIA Peconic, the East End’s chapter of the American Institute of Architects, sponsors the annual architecture and design competition.

The categories include architecture, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, unbuilt projects, emerging professionals and sustainable architecture.

Any registered architect may submit projects located within AIA Peconic’s geographic boundaries. Members of AIA Peconic may submit projects located anywhere in the world, including on the East End.

Architects may submit up to six entries each. The entry fee per entry is $200 for AIA Peconic members, $75 for AIA Peconic associate members, $275 for out-of-chapter AIA members, and $400 for non-AIA members.

The awards symposium is planned for Saturday, April 13, at the Ross School in East Hampton. Each submission is entitled to one ticket to the symposium.
