Town Youth Invited To Dance!

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau, in partnership with the Peconic Ballet Foundation, invites children ages 7 to 9 to join the Dance with Project LEAP (Learn, Empower, Achieve, Perform) program, which will take place on Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m. starting January 9 through May 8 at the Flanders Youth Center.

Professional instructors from the Peconic Ballet Foundation will teach ballet techniques while promoting fitness, creativity, confidence. No prior dance experience is required, making this program perfect for beginners or those looking to explore ballet for the first time. Classes will not be held on January 23, February 20, April 17, or April 24.

The program fee is $40 for the series, and participants will have the unique opportunity to showcase their skills in a culminating ballet performance on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Peconic Ballet Theatre (time to be announced).
